Entry-level Geologist/Civil Engineer

We are seeking a full-time entry-level geologist or civil engineer to join our team in Woodinville, Washington. The ideal candidate would have a 4-year degree in geology, civil engineering, or earth sciences and be available for full-time employment. No experience is required, although some past experience in geology or geotechnical engineering is desired. A valid Washington State driver's license
Own or have access to a reliable vehicle

MS Suite and some AutoCAD knowledge desired

Reliable, responsible, organized, and self-motivated
Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
Initial Job Duties Will Include:
Construction monitoring, such as density testing and foundation evaluation
Working on construction sites and interacting with contractors, engineers, developers, etc.
Aiding in geotechnical site investigations.
Laboratory testing to determine engineering properties of soil and rock.
Communicating field observations both verbally and in writing.
Writing field reports to summarize observations made during site visits.
Professional Geotechnical Engineer (PE)

We are seeking a part-time to full-time Professional Geotechnical Engineer (PE), licensed in the state of Washington, to join our team in our Woodinville office. We are looking for an experienced individual who can provide a leadership role, as well as solicit and support new business opportunities. The ideal candidate would have a BS or MS degree in civil/geotechnical engineering and a minimum of eight years of experience in the geotechnical field, preferably in the Pacific Northwest. Good communication, organization, and people skills, along with strong technical skills are highly desired. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred, but not required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is required
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the geotechnical field is required
Licenses and Certifications:
A current Professional Engineer license in the State of Washington is required
