Whispering Ridge Landslide
NGA is contracted by the Chelan County PUD to conduct extensive subsurface explorations and engineering analysis, along with a thorough review of the site history and available documents pertaining to the site and surrounding vicinity.
Project plans include site explorations with eight geotechnical borings up to 50 feet deep using a limited access drill rig, install four inclinometer casings and four piezometers with borings, and perform soil testing.
NGA is providing recommendations for permanent slide stabilization and repairing the affected structures, including recommendations for retaining walls, deep foundations, earth anchors, drainage systems, and erosion control measures.
